slave cyclinder...

Well that was the problem. Now I'm just battling leaks with this line I jerry rigged up. Should be up and running sunday. I hope. :booo:

I give up... Took it for a tes drive and the slave exploded again. :booo: :booo: :booo:

ITS FIXED!!!!! I hope....:redneck:

But I drove it home from the shop. I got 8 miles on it with no issues. But I dont trust it. :booo:

This time around I put a new master, new clutch pressure plate, clutch, new slave, and had the flywheel resurfaced. I dont know if I should trust it.

i know how you feel joop mine went out i replaced it and it lasted about two weeks this morning it went out again...

atleast yours lasted 2 weeks. Mine wouldn't even make it out of the shop before it exploded. 8 times I went through this, finally i think its fixed. I hope..:eeek:

To fix it you have to pull the tranny. Its cheaper to buy a complete clutch kit vs. a slave cylinder by itself.

I've got it down pat and can have a tranny pulled in about 45 minutes. :redneck:

But make sure you resurface the flywheel too.

my clutch is only two yrs old.. so im sure its not worn out.. hmmmmm

Your missing the point. when you buy a new clutch kit it comes with a new slave. So once you get to the slave cylinder, the clutch assy is right there. So why not put in a new clutch?? Also brake fluid may have sprayed on your clutch when it popped. So just as a precaution it wouldn't hurt to do the job right the first time.

Look at me, I'm one to talk it took me 7 times to finally find a clogged line, then 8th time to resurface the flywheel, now its fixed. You get the point
