Some Ford tech talk for my buggy

Right, I was unaware if it was a bellhousing you could unbolt. The $100 one comes with the yokes. That should be able to bolt up in place of that 1356?

They are probably 1310 or 1330 yokes... Now of they are 1350 or 1410 that's a differnt story..

Not really worth paying $50 for tokes you won't use....

And yes, it'll bolt up. Might have to notch the tcase adapter for the inside shift rail. No big deal

Well damn, maybe we are onto something. What steering pump are you going to run for your full ram? That is one of the bummers, I'm running a brand new psc on my 4.0. :-\

Re:

You can use that pump. I'm using a stock pump from a e150. Runs my steering fine. You may have to build the bracket for it to fit though.

I can build a bracket for sure, but you think I'll be able to utilize my current pump?

You can easily make a bracket to mount a Saginaw TC pump (what you have now) to the a/c location on the stock ford bracket.

You can also get a ford van accesory bracket for the driver head, they use Saginaw P pump.

I actually have the little bolt on PSC adapter to use a Saginaw P pump to the stock ford 3 bolt bracket, and I bulit another bracket yo run another p pump where the ac mounts, because I was going to run rear steer with a second pump.

Spend a little more money at the first go around do a ls5.3 and th350 and what ever t case you want I used to be a big Ford fan but after having all kinds of problems out of my 351w I went to Chevy ls6.0 and never looked back the amount of money I spent on trying to make the 351w run/not have problems all the time I could have done two ls swaps . just my two cents

That was the more obvious long term plan. I just started to get anxious seeing these low prices on 351 trucks because the power isn't too bad.

Dang I have been looking for that truck for two years now.....

If anything solid axle swap it keep the EFI as is. I have ran two OBS Broncos, and three OSB F150's with EFI never had any issues with the EFI. OBD I is highly favored where I live due to emissions the trans isn't a total loss I do prefer the C6 but the AOD can wheel, I used one for years, the 1356 is pretty stout never broke mine.
