That is some sick ****, this weekend was fun... and no, I didn't take any pics.. I was wither :drinkers: or shootin video...

Ridin shotty, night wheelin on 3 stage, in the rain, drunk as hell---is funner than shitll! :spin:

I saw Clayton made the Top 5 places to wheel list recently by I think Peterson's (could be wrong on the source). I personally love the place. The Paola guys have no love for it but I think that all comes down to the gearing. We've got a ton of rides scheduled between now and the end of the year we'll see how many I make with the little one getting here in August. Clayton, 2 trips to Hot Springs, Katemcy.

Kelly, you guys down for a Hot Springs trip. I think Todd is going to post up a thread on here about it, try to get you guys involved and meeting us there.

Ya dude the only thing I can compare Clayton to is Montrose... The wheelin' is sick. Some of the most challenging wheelin I've seen in the country.... ANd I've seen alot of ****. What made it nutty for us was that first night in the rain.. fawk. 2 of the rigs we were with were 42 IROKs, one on 44" cut boggers(that suck) and 2 on 44" cut TSL's.. Good times... Joe's full-throttle assaults were fawkin sweet for video.

And Paul next time u go definetly hit 3 stage it's badass lil trail! :drinkers:

Im not sayin cause its supposed to be bad... just because its one hill when you mention Clayton people always ask about. I feel robbed for being there and not being able to say.

That is a funny statement.......

I have heard 3 Stage is fun but it is a good ride or tow from the hotels. I have always heard that Green Acres is much more hard and challenging, and to hit 3 Stage after you have run all the hard stuff in Green Acres. With the size of our group and the weather, we could barely cover the "must have" trails at Green Acres.

I dont care if P-town no likey the Clayton, I really want to go back there. Honestly groups of 3-5 rigs MAX. More than that and you are ****ing retarded.

In talking with a bunch of guys last night at the Southern High Rollers meeting they all put Clayton above Moab for places to wheel and that are challenging. Me personally I'd like to hit the Rubicon just to say I did it before its completely closed even though it really doesn't have anything aside from the Sluice Box. Then you have to hit the Hammers (Johnsons Valley), Montrose, Durango, Clayton, Greyrock, Tellico, and I'd be a happy man.

Im more than sure Ill go back again, Im in no rush and it wont be for a big group ride. That is a small group friendly place there . :spin:

Better hurry or the whole place will be shut down! I've heard Potato Salad Hill, Lion's Back, and some other big places are already shut down for one reason or another.

I totally agree, I could not understand all the **** talk from the Kansas guys about Clayton. That place kicks the **** out of any place to wheel around here. Sure it is technical and aimed at crawling, but there are more than a few places where gas pedal is required. It was fun this year, and I spent most of the time chasing down problems. I will go once a year for sure from here on out.

dude potato salad hill is ****in pointless... Lions back eh whatever... If you ever go to Moab you'll see that there is ALOT of wheelin and those are 2 small little touristy wheelin spots where you hop out your jeep or drive up and take a picture... MOAB's wheelin area is HUGEEEEEEE

That ain't no **** dude... I'd say 3 rigs max we had 5 and it was a pain in the ass gettin thru with any sort of a decent pace...

Out of what u listed I need to hit Tellico, Durango and the Rubicon to be a happy man :flipoff1: :drinkers:... I will say that is a very good list. Very good wheelin' spots.

with my doubler I will go to clayton if I get to take Paul as my spotter. I don't like ben spotting for me, nothing against him or our past tiff, just don't like it, and Heath doesn't have a clue on how to spot me. wyatt is my second choice with paul being my first. If I could go with those 2 guys and 1 other rig I would. I had a bad taste in my mouth because of the fuggin waiting, the fact taht I only rode 100' of blacksheep blvd and ran up and down/walked the rest, and pulled rope and cable and air line and vid cam duties the whole time. I want to take my rig in a 4 rig group. Other than that, I will never ever go back if its a big ride. I wanna go on an off weekend.
