Spare tire for KOH

Clapped out Krawler with AL rim, no beadlock. That would be my choice for spare. No way I would tote a beadlock or a Maxxis tire. Get a cheap tire cover........

You were reading what I was thinking about last night. ;D I was going to figure out a tire cover for sure if we didn't run a Maxxis.

I knew I wasn't stupid. A 40" Creepy weighs 111.3 pounds. That's friggin 42 pounds heavier than a 39" Bogger.

i cant believe that Maxxis weight! WOW, thats why no one tears those tires. Cause there is 40% mor material in the dang things. WOW!

Yeah...I waited to comment on the weight issue...but I knew they put any tire to shame on heaviness. I got that number off some tire website that I found after searching like 10 different sites. Can't remember it now. I'm going to go weigh the unmounted Creepy and Trep under the house and report what I find for myself.

87yjtoy and David...thanks. I'll let you know what we decide.

What you need is one of them thar tall skinny to tores like on them mud buggies. With a little fab work you could have a 40" tall and 5" wide spare. That would get you to the next check point. :spin:

I kinda fell bad for just rolling that tire to you truck and saying here ya go now. If we make the big race I hope I am not riding if she blows a tire.
