Who here would Gladly leave their families to defend this somewhat shitty country led by idiots into a war you most likely disagreed with right now?
& before y'all flip out, tell me how we are still The Greatest Country on Earth, seriously

I am stationed at Ft Campbell and live in TN. I am asking to move after this deployment to Germany.
The "freedoms" in the US have gone past the line that allows you and I to live as we please, say what we want, raise our children the way we want and make decisions for ourselves to improve our welfare and health for the future.

I don't know how you do it with Obama in the WH right now. I feel like he is a bigger threat than terrorists right now!

I've said it before, but the hard part for me about serving wouldn't be risking my life. It would be leaving my daughter knowing I will for sure miss so much of her youth, possibly her entire life. I nearly break down in tears any time I think about it. I'm on the verge right now just typing this. My life is worth nothing compared to a second of her's.

If you want to enact change, do something about it. Go to rally's, volunteer to help a candidate that you would like to win and supports your beliefs. Read the full bill before you go and read an abbreviated version before you vote. Check history of current politicians and see if they geehaw with your political views.
If you think, I don't have time to do all that. Then you still have the right to bitch, but no real ground to stand on. If I don't know enough, I don't vote for said bill or candidate. I have been down to Montgomery, AL while they were in session and was available to speak towards a few bills being introduced.
The founding fathers didn't bitch on a forum, they got off there asses and did something. They signed their names and some of them took up arms and fought. I'm not saying you have to go join the military, just do something. Volunteer, read, help inform.
Prime example. Obama did not try and win Alabama. He did use anyone that was qualified in Alabama to call people in swing states to talk issues and help convince them of what he wanted.
