Tidwells front axle was doing some strange stuff...sometimes 100% locked and other times like it was open...

Pretty sure it got damaged last week when Nathan broke both from Chromolly Ouverson shafts.

And Richie runs an ARB and he had it turned off when he climbed it one time.

I have an Ouverson locker in the front. I'm told its basically just a chromo Detroit. Sometimes if I let off the gas with the tires in the air it will open up and if the tires are still in the air when I hit the gas again it will not lock back up until I either put the tires back on the ground or hit the brakes and gas it again. Not sure why it does that but it doesn't really affect anything since it only happens with the tires off the ground and they aren't doing anything then anyway. Mainly the only time it does it is when I'm high-centered with both front tires off the ground. It may do it when I just catch air but like I said, as soon as the tires touch the ground again it locks up.

so he just has the 16 spline chromolies?

He did in the front but broke them last weekend and put stock back in until his 2" shafts arrive.

2" shafts are a lot more fun you don't have to let off or worry about a wheel being in a bind lol!

what front locker is in plow boy and tidwells buggy?
my buggy is a Lincoln "welded" locker the other weekend at AOP I broke both front axles and I should've checked chunk when I seen the twisted splines on one axle and shaft was broke in middle So I'm thinking the splines are twisted inside carrier or weld broke. Either way gotta blame Katie :dblthumb:

Nathan, I would buy parts for my buggy all week if my wife would drive like yours does. You have GOT to be proud of her!!

That's right, IT WAS ALL HER FAULT... It had nothing to do with that second hill, wasn't she driving anyway? laughing1

Did bobby not like those other shocks that he tried?

He took a hard roll on his like second ride with them and broke the rear ones, didn't he? I think I recall seeing a video of it.

Your right on that. I remember it broke some but I figured they could have been repaired. Those kinda had my curiosity up.
