I've only heard good things about this pump. I'm pretty excited to have Broady running this pump along with @cbrjeeper up coming modifications

I believe Chris modified one of Scotts mounts that he sells to clear my hood line.

What pump is it? my understanding was they could not handle the rpm's that the engines turn.

several of the racers run them and they turn aloooooot more rpm's than I will be

That is what i was concerned about also, so i have tested it real good and it is great.

Thats a regular gear pump with Scott's support bearing.
Theoretically gear pumps do not like to be spun fast, but given how long your average rockcrawler will be driven in its life, they have been proven to hold up quite well.

What will happen in the long run is that the gears will wear and the pump will internally bypass (problematic at low rpm).

@Timjus is using one and I beleive he got something like 5 years out of his before changing it.

The support bearing is called an overhung load adapter, common part.

not sure who scott is, but I assume that's a specific one made or modified to mount the automotive ribbed pulley ?
