straddleline is back!!!!!

As for today..WOW. and WOW. Anyone that told me this event would get better every time was 110% correct. Phenomenal race today, awsome rollovers, fast rigs. We had it all. Congrats to John Wise from Dirty Rubbers Racing for the win with his 4cly toyota buggy and Jason Gondahl and Jason Gowin for 2nd and 3rd, both from WOW. Honorable mention goes to Brian Grey from Pnwjeep for a solid 4th and very fast lap times in his "stock" jeep.lol. I didnt get any pics but I know someone who did and well be posting them up as soon as they are edited, As well as John from CRAWL was there with camera in hand saying he would be posing up on the CRAWL website soon. (hopefully he got jasons enormous roll-over!) Thanks to everyone who came and hope to see you all on July 24th for the next round of "Best in the West" offroad racing series. beau

It was another fun day! Thanks for putting this on for us, we've been needing something like this in the PNW for a while.

I think you need a Stock/Mod class now, or I need a V8 and 42s, LOL

So who's in the points lead? :corn:

B-ryan. I pm'ed you on nwj.:D AND also I have to give it up to olywa and Big C for coming out and stomping thru and clearing the brush to give us some new trails to run on. Thanks for all the help!:cheer::cheer::cheer::cheer:

What a weekend at Straddleline ORV park......Worked all day Saturday with a work party cleaning out the old trails and what treasures we found hidden under all that brush....A little hard work with saws, man power and a little friend called excavator, we were able to uncover great new sections to the course.....Then on Sunday the Best in the West series kicked off & if I remember right the winning fastest lap was by John @ 6 mins and some change...... :cheer: the rest of the pack came in around 7-10 mins for 1 lap..... this is a side by side 2 a time start & a course with a little of everything and every section has a challenge or two & not for the faint of heart......

I encourage people to go out and check it out on the weekends or weekdays..... run the trails out there play on the obstacles and if one dares venture into the mud pits.......more traffic on them trails the better they will get, after one weekend they got broke in real nice........ :redneck:

Finally got to meet some of the board members from here....great people and some awesome rigs were out running.......

Thanks to OlyWa for jump starting me a bunch of times

no thank you for the cheese dog..... :redneck: Get that bugs worked out and see ya on the next one that rig of urs has what it takes to win I don't think u need much more HP :redneck:

It needs a better driver before it will win anything :haha: Hopefully it will at least be driveable next time. You can never have enough horsepower

Here's my first lap of the day. 7:40 with :90 worth of penalty for bypassing the rocks and logs. I went over the rocks and logs on my second lap and went :31 quicker, hopefully John H (CRAWL) will post that video up soon

B-ryan...thanks for that vid...that is a great look at what this events course looked like.... no better way to look at it then that right there...... :awesomework:
