"Straight drive or HERO"

How can you be a HERO without a HERO. Haha I like mine bolted right in where my stak was adapters and shifters worked off my stak. So all I bout was the bare 2speed. Been very happy with it so far If I was you I'd buy the hero. Just for the ease of install

What's the price on one of the scs cases? Are they available for fords? Hero is nice but expensive.

When I was trying to decide between the two the scs straight drive was around $2500. I went with the hero. Just because of being able to select 2wd or high range. If I was just going to race it though, I would go with the scs mainly because it's easier to change the gear ratios.

Nate that is probably the reason I'm going to go with the hero. I don't want to modify the buggy a lot just to install a new case. Between your buggy Coopers,Jamie's and every one Else's they seem to be holding up. Thanks everybody for the input. And Josh you can say your buggy don't have any HP all day long but we know different.

Unless the price has changed my cyclone was $2550 with flanges and shipping and they do a 1 year free gear ratio exchange so if u don't get the right ratio for ur setup the first time and this case is 96#s and it is very small also its only 6" thick and 8" tall when it's on its side .The hero I think would be ur best bet for install reasons

PS if u are babying that buggy now I may have to add another turbo to keep up ;D

Whats the plans for the atlas??

I've got the Hero in mine as well and have had zero problems. Shifts a lot easier than the Atlas in Bombshell. It was a good big bigger than the NP205 it replaced and has some gear noise in low range. I kinda like the noise it makes though, but if you're used to an Atlas or New Process case it could take some getting used to.
