Straps?

well the guy i borrowed the trailer from gave me two straps hmmmm, im thinking four would be much better

hey nuzzy can i borrow a couple straps from ya for a weekend?

i think i will order some macs

4 is much better. If one breaks or fails you have a backup it also spreads the load out.

sounds like a guy i work with might have two chains and binders, but just in case whats bobby's name on the board?

i cant for the life of me seem to remember
 
axle saver is built into straps with kevlar reinforcement sleeve good price i have 2 sets each strap is around 5ft long been around 1 year since i bought my second set

cool, maybe i will just go there then, even though i dont own my own trailer i have access to a few to borrow whenever i want so i figure it will be good to have a set of my own straps:awesomework:
 
Need to bring this back into conversation..........I have a trailer now and it came with chains. Should I just use the chains, or buy the straps? Lots of people use straps, but is it the best solution for securing my jeep?

I think straps are more convenient atleast for me.
 
I got some at home depot for like 16.00 each and are the big yellow,and rated for 5000lbs i think, and i actually found the same ones at wall-mart for 15.00 and some change. I also use a small piece of chain around the axle to attach the strap to.

The Home Depot ones are rated for 10K; 'Keeper' brand--nice price @ like $15 Ea.(14.97?);

I wouldn't use anything less than a 10K strap... :eeek:
