i just bought that same one for my buggy.as far as too small? i run a 22re in my sammy and ran at rieter for two days on around 6 gallons of gas, so i figure that would be good for a 4 cyl?

HOS is running a 472 Caddy in a 3 ton rig. Not quite apples to apples.

I know Jay...but I barely go through a half tank of the 30 gallon unit now after a whole weekend of wheeling.

I don't mind packing a couple of cans in the tow-rig.

Silly question...but I can only assume that my FI will net better efficiencies over the Q-Jet?

It's hard to say. If the Q jet was working right and tuned well there won't be much if and MPG gain....
