Team Trophy Challenge - Washington!

:D We are full. And we have a sponsor for the event. Trailready is sponsoring us and allowing us to give more back to help keep our wheeling lands open.

Thank you Larry! :D :cheer:

TTCW entry space open

it looks like we have 1 spot open for the TTCW.
if you are interested, fill out the form on the website and e-mail it in
as it is too close to the event to snail mail.
the event is the weekend of Sept 29th & 30th
first entry gets in.

A little off topic:

Is this a spectator sport as well? or atleast can someone come along with a pic and vid camera to take pics/vids of the challenge?

Jim

there are no spots for specators but we will be trying to have a few cameras out there taking pictures and we will post back on either the Tamer web site or the TTCW site. probably both

come on Crash, Christa's rig is done, tell her your just taking it out for a shake down run, put a team together and come play!!!!

Since the event is almost here I just would like a little clarification on the whole tire, cone 76" rule. Where on the cones will the 76" measurement be taken?

A-Red

B-Yellow

or

C-Black

And one more thing clarified, please.

The schedule seems somewhat confusing to me. You refer to basecamp and coming back to camp between events.... but do we run during the day and then restart in the AM? Or run one parts, return to camp, immediately head out for the next stage, etc? Are we actually camping for the night in between?

You will see once you get your directions. Our goal is to keep you confused all day. :awesomework:

All kidding aside, once you get your directions after the tech inspection, it will become very clear what you are getting yourself into.

So whats the likely hood of getting this open for non-street legal rigs in the coming years? I'd love to compete in this event but due to my V8 swap I can't license it. But I am licensed as a ORV (just like most buggies).

This event has always been for the non-orv only users...it's more daily driver types that it is geared towards as buggies and the likes have all the other comps to go to...

This comp is all about NORMAL trail wheeling and the normal things that you would run into. (And a couple you might not, but would be good to know)

This event is NOT about the rig. It is all about the people and their ability to think things through.

Anybody with a reasonably equiped rig can do everything we will ask of you with no problem. But, we will be compacting a years worth of problems into a 24 hour period.

It will be impossibe for any team to get a perfect score and we fully expect 40% of the rigs to drop out for one reason or another.

Me personally, I think the winning team will have less than 1/2 of the available points.

We will expect you to be totally self reliant for the event and penaltys if you are not and bonus points if you are better than average.

We are challenging you to be the best wheeler there is and it will be hard. believe me, the team that wins will truly earn it.

This will be interesting since the whore's will be camped out on the 410 side all weekend. Will try and stay out of your guy'ses way..Have fun and I'm sure well see you all their..:fawkdancesmiley:

thanks Grumpy, its nice to know people will help out even if its just letting us have a little right-a-away. should be a interesting time for sure....
