Tell me about Rally Raid...

.... won't rave Stoney is his buggy because he was clocked at 120mph at one point in the race and it was just too fast of a course.....

Can you provide more information. Who is the builder? Is there a build thread. 120MPH in an east coast buggy is something. Any information you can give would be helpful,

cause I think you are full of ****! :flipoff1:

Gilbert Designs is working on some steel framed doors that'll hold up to a rollover (since I'm gravity challenged) so all I'm lacking is a horn and mirror. Air horns count or do I need to wire something up?
Just duct tape an air horn to the roll bar and ride out... thats all Alan has ever had

it was the guy who runs the whole rally raid series buggy. so i doubt he is full of ****. it has a R6 motor in it. And to me the average speed was 60mph because it seems like 90 % of the time your going balls out. and we did was hold the pedal to the floor and go down dirt roads and then ther waqs like 1 mile of trail

and i BELEIVE he said 128mph to be exact. And it wasnt the brittish guy, it was the other one who runs the computer in the 5th wheel.

I finish every race saying I went too fast to do it again. NOT

The guy that runs the whole series has a 900XP, there was a Protolite buggy at one race, guy didnt like the jump faces so they changed them before the race, he finished around 8 laps, if you average 60 mph you are running the wrong course, sorry but no way around it, we ran every race last year. Only bike powered buggies last year was the Protolite and a custom trphy truck, neither fared well as this course is more than dirt roads, 2wd wont cut it, look back over the last years results as see
