There was a discussion in one of the razor threads either earlier this year or last year about people buying out of state so they wouldn't have to pay tax on a new razor. I tried it a couple of times on new dirt bikes out of state and received a nice letter in the mail about 6 months later that said u are gonna pay this amount now. When u get ready to sell it's less of a pain in the ass also. Now days most people want their title if they're gonna drop 15 or 20 grand.

I've heard that from folks in the Southeast a fair amount. Man, none of us since 08 when we started buying rzr's in Missouri (20 miles away) have ever gotten a letter.
