The economy

But on a serious note, like Wyatt and Kelley said, Things are gona get worse before they get better. I was talking to a guy the other day and he said "I remember back in the 70's when you couldn't buy gas no matter how rich you were. There just wasn't any to buy. So I don't mind paying for it, even if it goes to $10.00 a gallon!"

I know that me and Cole at least would still prolly pay that much for it, yeah it will be hard but that is what I'm expecting to happen. Might be a little far fetched but maybe I'll be somewhat prepared. :dunno:

Also Wyatt you brought up a good point about spreading our troops thin and stuff. I hate that more than anything. If something else were to happen, what's gonna happen to us? Oh well, guess we'll find out if it happens. And the media needing to stfu, Yeah someone needs to do something. It might be third world thinking but I think that some of the things that are being said most of the public doesn't need to know. I do know that in other countries their govt keeps a lot of media about the govt quiet. Just my .02 cents! :dunno:

I say we all boycott oil..... the economics of that would **** opec..... supply and demand.. if we don't use any, then they are ****ed.

I seriously doubt we could boycott oil. Okay, we drill our reserves. that doesn't happen overnight and this country is so dependant on oil (thanks oil rich policy makers protecting your own interests) that it would take some time to get our infrastructure so that we could really keep up with our own demand. Also, opec isn't ****ed if we cut them off. there are still those 2 other 1+ billion population countries buying that **** and driving our price up, and a myriad of smaller countries vieing for it too. Why is scrap up, oh yeah, they're buying all that too.
use up our own resources, great, as long as we have a backup plan. start on alternative **** now. think about 100 years from now. emergency plans normally don't go perfectly smooth. ones developed over time that transition smoothly seem to work better. okay, lets bleed out our oil over the next half century and make damn sure we have another plan in place and operating to take up the slack slowly til we get there.

will this affect anything? http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSWAT00953020080520?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&rpc=22&sp=true

Oh look a wasps nest. Hummm lets go poke it with a stick, real hard and jam it all around like.

$200 crude here we come. If you thought the OPEC countries didnt care for the US, wait until the finish us off. ****ing congress is full of stupidity. To bad we are governed by herd mentality. :'(

$196 tonight to fill up the excursion...

... I'm gonna become a non-drivin motherfukker before too long. No joy-riding with opec's cock 12 foot up my asshole

Honda Elite Scooter... Fun like fat girls, cheap like P I need to find me one of them hogs ( the scooter...dickheads )

I was privy to some interesting discussion this morning.

OPEC is actually at max production, they are just playing the card they are holding back.
The thing is they are shooting theirselves in the foot at these high prices. The ensure conservation kicks in, and alternatives to oil use are developed. Long run that is bad for oil producers.

Additionally, I read this morning that all these countries that energy subsidize (Malaysia, India, etc...) are ending their programs at these levels.

holy ****, pay to burn huh. why is that program in place, or you mean opec was subsidizing. I can't imagine a country wanting to pay its users to burn more. then again, I can't imagine wanting to pay farmers to not farm
yep thats it. Not OPEC though. Just government helping keep the cost down.
