I'll preface this with I hate everyone who is wheeling this weekend. That means everyone going to RickyB's :flipoff1: BASTAGES!!!!

I am having knee surgery this morning at 11:30, that will be awesome. I've been a pimp walking with a limp since before we all met up in Clayton. And be on crutches for a while.

This weekend is Houston's Autorama. They gave the guys that I hang out with 60 spots to do a "Suede Palace" type deal. So my '58 will be there. Was also going to have the Rivi there but my new carrier bearing for the driveshaft never showed up. Pixie is supposed to be there so I shaved my balls this morning, you know just in case. hitit

I also got my sheet of aluminum last weekend to reskin my buggy. And got a pile of Ballistic parts to add recovery points, and a "T" handle for my passenger.
I'm still waiting for my crap from Walker Evans to repair my wheels.

And I'm waiting for some samples that I was planning on running on the skins.
And yes, Paul, I'm working on painting my hood and grill. Once I get the skins colored up, then I'll color match. I'm thinking about some fine, medium, and course grained red metalflake mixed with "Arrest me Red" then cleared. I think.......it will look good with my plans for the skins.
Here's a pic of what I think I'm going with on the skins it is optical illusion lenticular plastic film, I'm thinking the Moire Translucent Yellow Red.

Turkey Day stuff tommorrow, piddlin with the truck and jeep on Friday. Plan to load up my old Dmax on the GN and pull that bitch up Double Oak Mountain about 10 times in an effort to break in the Dodge. Gonna hang at Joe's shop on Friday afternoon and get ready for Saturday. Headed up to the bash Saturday AM and coming back on Sunday. Pretty stoked about this weekend and also about doing some fine tuning to my rig next month!

Headed to my parents tomorrow for turkey day. Friday to my home town to play in a pigskin game and probably get hurt. Saturday, I might have a date. About it.
 
Matt you still own the DMAX? I thought you sold it.... ??? I get cornfused easy sometimes.

Oh yeah and turkey day tomorrow, we are doing a lunch. I think I'm going to shovel a whole punkin' pie in my pie hole.
 
my date is the chick that cuts my hair, I'll see what I can do. I go in at 11 to get trimmed and I will ask her then. she's cute...pixie is HAWT on such a trashy level it's insaine!
 
Joe owns the Dmax it was heaviest thing I could load on my trailer so I asked him if I could load it up and tug it up Double Oak a few tims.

Sucks on the knee work. I had mine years ago and there is not a single step I take that Im not reminded of it. Look forward to growing old in pain is about all I can tell ya :flipoff1:

Im going to work on my buggy / eat some (more) food , drink a few cold ones and relax tonight and tommorow. Miles and Ben are slated to show up on my door some time Tday eveneing

Tonight Im pickin up Capt Carl's Heep so I can drag it to RBD07 and wheel it until he gets in from N.C. ( I hope he and Jon put as much effort into getting it right as they say so I can have some fun in it ) loller.gif
 
eat tukey today....eat some more tomorrow, visit with lots o family, funeral showing on friday evening(my uncle passed on sunday night...cancer), prolly hit the road after that to head to AL...wheel in the rain saturday and sunday! :drinkers: :flipoff1:

Damn tempting bro! I have noplace for the dog and my sister is busy with the holiday and a funeral, so no dog sitter. It'd be in poor (bones) taste to ignore family for the first holiday back home. I plan to head down for the first XRRA race if all goes to plan. I think April??

Have fun, Ben and Heath's taking their rigs correct?

the rest of the week i have a **** load of work to do: a book report on east asian lesbians for my women in politics class (maybe some of you guys can help me with that), a book report on palestine, and a 10 page draft for my final paper in arab nationalism. anybody wanna do some typing? ???
 
Well I'm starting to walk again unassisted which is nice. The crutches wore my armpits raw and I was taking Hydrocordons more for that, than my actual knee.

In better news I won the U.S. Kustoms pick at Houstons Autorama. Damn trophy lights up and everything. Crazy cool.
