Well I'm starting to walk again unassisted which is nice. The crutches wore my armpits raw and I was taking Hydrocordons more for that, than my actual knee.

In better news I won the U.S. Kustoms pick at Houstons Autorama. Damn trophy lights up and everything. Crazy cool.
Heres a pic I got with Aaron Lobato after the awards show.

Way to go Wyatt, it is nice to get some recognition for hard work.

Shoot me some pics of your truck when you get a chance, I have someone I was wanting to show it to.

I also got my sheet of aluminum last weekend to reskin my buggy.
And I'm waiting for some samples that I was planning on running on the skins.
And yes, Paul, I'm working on painting my hood and grill. Once I get the skins colored up, then I'll color match. I'm thinking about some fine, medium, and course grained red metalflake mixed with "Arrest me Red" then cleared. I think.......it will look good with my plans for the skins.
Here's a pic of what I think I'm going with on the skins it is optical illusion lenticular plastic film, I'm thinking the Moire Translucent Yellow Red.

The samples showed up this afternoon, fawk! They are NO BEUNO! It actually looks like theatre/stage silk curtains. And if you aren't looking head on, they have a milky white look goin on.
We'll though that would be silly cool. I guess I'll just go with Flaking the whole thing and adding some retro graphics or something.
FAWK FAWK FAWK, I had high hopes.

I got a sheet of 4'x10'x 1/8" for $170
Initially I was thinking 1/8" was a bit too thick, but my floors, and firewall are 1/8"
Currently I'm running 1/16" barn tin and it is just too light, it tears and deforms way too easily.
