The Scout project... still comin around going around

So you may or may not recall the Scout I traded into, then parted . The engine , tranny and some other small odds and ends I sold to a guy I used to work with. Buick V6 Th350 all fresh and ready to rock stuff. Anyway, he bought it with the intentions of sticking it in a 62 4dr Falcon he had laying about.

Long story short, he just offered the whole setup car drivetrain I sold him and all for a REALLY cheap price. I've kinda been on the ratrod / old sheetmetal kick for a long time now and this seems like a CHEAP way to get my fix and have a really cool driver / project to play with.

Anyway, here's what a 62 Falcon 4dr looks like.....

This powerplant albeit small would be about 3times the HP the original engine in these cars produced, and with the Auto I think it would be a real good cruiser / driver.

My thoughts up front, flat black ratrod style, nice wheels very low mean stance, throaty exhaust and 4 bucket seats with simple interior for lots of comfort for long cruising summer fun !!

I think those wheels on it now are what'd you want for a ratrodish look.I'd flat black it first before wheels.Just to see how it looks.

Thats not THE car, just an example of the bodystyle.... I said CHEAP.. that one doesnt look to cheap to me with the easter egg gay blue paint and shiney stuff laughing1

Yep....I can picture it.....July.....106 degrees with 100% humidity....traffic on the beach strip is at a standstill and your ass is in a Falcon with no air! molaugh

Funny though, I pretty much talked myself 100% out of this on the way home..

Self: You know, what the hell you need something like that for... **** your weekends will be full on with wheeling the buggy anyway!

Me: You know what Self, your a pretty smart fuggin guy, Ill buy you a beer when we get home and we can discuss it a lil more..

Self: Man F discussing that , tell that dood you dont have any interest in it... spend that time and money getting the buggy pimped out , the trailer proper and the sled sexy.
