2 projects is retarded! It ****s your head & wallet all up. But what it does allow, is when you get tired of one, you can move on to the other one for a bit and so on and so forth.
The trick is that they aren't both 4x4's or both hotrods.

Paul, find an old truck down there and take it and steal the cab to make a hotrod cab truck. Build a frame to get it low and put your 350 in it and get a 5.3 for the buggy.
I saw no less than 30 candidates while driving around your area 2 weeks ago. You dont want a 4 door car. then one with the green doors, the primer with scallops (not the paint, the truck) and maybe the one on the salt flats, although its too boxy. something about it strikes me fancy. then again maybe not that one. the first two, especially with green doors are bad ****ing ass. some of the others look like complete ****ing ****.

You have a keen eye. The green door truck is actually the Rudy Rodriguez truck that started it all. It is shown early in that thread with hookers painted on the doors.

Its been mimicked many times but raely been pulled off. Its a very fine line between good proportion and "the look" and an abortion.

its not "raked" per se, but the fact that the bed looks like its sloping towards the cab, then you see the bottom cab line sloping, then you see that if it had a front clip, it would be under the pavement surface, so it is raked in a way. ****ing cool.
