Thinking about considering the possibility of contemplating buying a 6.0

I gave $1025 for my 2006 6.0 LQ4 van engine complete with harness and ECM. It had 140k on it but I have seen them with over 300k on them and still used no oil. I did have to call a few junk yards to find an American owned one that would give me a package price. The foreign owned ones would not.

I thought about adding a cam but I can break all the part I want, and melt down the 43 stickies with it stock, so why bother.

I guess the plan I've had in my head was to find a good running 6.0 for the build and a few shakedowns. Then build it up some during the first winter afterwards. I understand that it might cost a bit more in the long run but short term, it will progress the build and be something that can be built up as time and funds allow.

This is why I left my ls2 stock, and just added the mast computer pack.

Haha, I don't think I've ever seen so much apprehension / uncertainty in a subject heading in my my life. "Thinking about possibly contemplating maybe but not certainly and with no positivity theoretically giving some consideration to the potential of buying or purchasing a 6.0." :)

Lol, I suppose at this point it should be "I need a 6.0, but not for 2k!". I've got a few good guys on the lookout for me so I'm just hanging out, hoping for the best. thumb.gif
