Tightening Beadlock bolts

I do like 6 bolts with the 3/8 air gun on all 4 then I just air them all in around in a circle. I add anti-seize especially if it

WhiteTrash has it down to a science.

I like to get mine close with a rattle gun too nowadays. Then after they are torqued down I glue the inner bead with napa bead glue. If you scuff the wheel, and tire, that stuff holds really good.

I never use silicone on beadlocks.

I just make sure the welds aren't porous with a "soap and blow" test.

Also, I torque mine (ruffstuff specialties diy rings) to 15lb ft. Never had a problem. Using grade 8 fasteners with a washer on the bolt head and flange whiz (serrated) nuts.

I have yet to mount a beadlock tire with silicone. rookie welders. :kissmyass:

Yes your right on the silicone. Some guys wanted to use it but you don't need to. Your weld doesn't need to air tight if you think about it. The tire seats on the out side of the rim. We went with G.5 3/8 24 bolts thats all you need, and it is much easyer than 32 bolts. I think our 3/8 bolts are about 15 to 20 ft. lbs.
