I remember when we use to take the sway bars off back in the real old days, mostlikly before some of you remember. Now some of us put them back on. Hell I must fall under that old and scared category! ??? ???
 
NOPE..........I remember taking the sway bars off back in the old days too man,to make em ride & flex better :gtfo:

Could someone tell me what sway bars are for ????Is it body lean or wheel hop or what???
 
It will help distribute the power to the tires equally,drag cars use them because of frame twist.alot of crawlers use them cause of body roll, basically a band aid for shocks not set up right or 4 link not right
 
Yep, sway bars not needed on most rigs with a proper link and coil setup.

The biggest reason to use sway bars is the long "free length" of coil overs or air shocks. IE they try to extend to their full length on the upside when side hilling etc.

Straight up climbing and crawling swaybars arent really needed IMO.
 
How you like it so far Timmie? In the recent vids it looks like it is hard to control on the full throttle assaults.
 
Why are they for sale on the big gay mudd truck forum.........they are WAY TO NARROW for anyone in that crowd that could afford them :****:
