• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

Time to play with the big kids.

I think I'm going to try and drop the radiator a little farther down in the chassis, and then tube the intake over top of the radiator and stick the filter right behind the grill.

Got a chance to head down to WA today to pick up some much needed parts.

Last thing I'm going to be worrying about are my axles with this combo of parts.

Superior Axle shafts, clearanced by Branik Motorsports, combined with Longfield's 300m Ujoints and 300m Drive Flanges.

Im disappointed Pook. With those mad forging skills you have I would have thought you could just whip up that stuff for yourself :flipoff:

:haha:

I wouldn't be fibbing if I said that the thought hasn't crossed my mind over the years. Maybe I'll forge a Ujoint and post pics when I get some spare time to play in the shop. :awesomework: wouldn't be cost effective but would be fun to try to do.

Still need to figure out how I'm going to fit an airfilter somewhere in here. Anyone got any ideas?

Your build is bad ass, I love it. I hope to do the same some day.

I know compaired to your engine bay I had all the room in the world, but I had a some what tight fit on the intake. I had a muffler shop bend me a piece of 3'' muffler pipe that I mounted a k&n filter on the end of.

Thats similar to what I'm going to do, but I'm going to try and squish the tube and go over top of the radiator.

When we get some more fixturing devices for the CNC I'm gonna whip up a little program to hog out my shafts Branik style....pretty simple....just need more holdy downy capabilitys(without making a whole stand alone fixture just to hold shafts)

:awesomework: I was going to machine them myself but things worked out so I didn't need to.

Let me know if you want any dimensions.

That would be really cool Mauler:awesomework:

Since all the cool kids have crossed drilled rotors... I figured I might as well to.

Sorry no finished pics my cell phone's memory card isn't co-operating :booo:

A couple finished pics of my rotors and the new 6 lug wheel hubs.

Finished trimming the hood to fit. I have already glassed the cowl back together, hood is just screwed together for test fitment right now.

A pic of the rad support/protector tube and where the hood pins will be getting mounted.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone shots.
