Timesert question/spark plug...

Not sure if I'm following you COMPLETELY. Helicoil makes specific inserts for spark plugs, not their normal heli coil repair kits. We've used these inserts many times with good luck.

Look at the picture in the first post. There is a helicoil stuck on the plug already. It came out with the plug so I'm guessing the issue is the hole in the head is fawked.

Turned out the time-cert was never installed all the way in or staked, which is why it backed out...... Apparently it is now fixed...
