To delete or not to delete????

All deleted trucks are technically llegal. But the government and leo's are not really enforcing it....especially in the Southeast.

I have a 2015 Duramax with deleted egr/def with a 100hp tune and I am getting a little over 24 mpg going to and from work (that is Driving 80 mph, it could do better I think) I towed my rig to Hale last weekend, and averaged 15.3. Going to have my guy add the 5 position switch and 4 more tunes ASAP so I can heavy haul.

I never knew what anyone was talking bout with the dead pedal on these trucks till I drove my buddies 12 it sucked ass I guess I was lucky mine has no dead pedal now I did notice when I was test driving it I drove three identical trucks and the one I bought was the best running one of the three. Mileage has sucked ass tho 14-15 was the best I got 12-13 pulling. Now at 70,000 I'm seeing 16-17. 13-14 pulling. Complete different question off topic here but does anyone else's a/c kick out while truck is sitting at an idle driving down interstate it's great traffic jams suck major **** just started this this yr. any ideas ****er freezing up or some ****
This is a common problem with dodges and fords. Sounds like it's time to step up to a duramax.

all you fancy fawkers with your deletes and tuners, hell all I need to tune my ole 12 valve is a torques and a screw driver.

I want a newer truck but I cant make myself sell my truck I got now to get a new one.

Agree. Not legal. That said, low risk gamble. When I do mine, I will likely hollow out stock components, or keep stock components so it appears OK at a glance but will not pass a sniffer test. We don't have annual inspection in KS

We did that on a friends 6.4. he cut the DPF off and we beat the honeycomb out of it and just dumped it out, i bet it was 50lbs worth of ceramic stuff. then he took it to muffler shop and welded it back on and did all the programming in the computer. It looked stock underneath but was not functional.

Where I live in Tennessee I happen to live in one of 3 I think lucky counties that do emission testing. Mine is deleted and they hook to the OBD2 and did a sniffer test as well and it passed both ways. Mine isn't a coal roller by any means but I've seen guys come in puffing while idling and still pass.
