Yeah, 10-4 on the girlfriend. He actually said KOH will be won in the rocks. He will be blasting across the desert with that hp though.

Yeah damn near the same here. I missed Bigelow due to my real player being an older version that wroked last week but not tonight.

I heard Shannon, and the Jellico, Fitty talk was pretty good. Some good talk abotu Levi as well. The Baja stuff and Class stuff isnt my thing either.

Oh yeah Skinny and a 1000hp tubro on the bottle KOH racer! Now am I correct in remembering isnt he Rock and Roll Offroad? And arent they the ones who ****ed up that kids jeep then Dan @ BTF jumped in to save the day and pimp BTF? Is that the same guy that screwed the jeep dude over on the cage?

That was really cool , Doug great interveiw man... I tried to call in why you were on to ask you a few questions but the # on the website wasnt the "call in # " the dood text'd me back " who is this , on the air " I explained and I guess he updated the website phone # because he text'd back to refresh the website and the number should be correct.

Anyway, yea I tried to get the DVD too damn the luck right laughing1

Shannon talkin big like he could out jump the fitty..... pfffffffffffffffft , Id like to see that booyang

And what do you think of him talking all the IFS stuff. Oughta be interesting to see if they are able to pull that off or if they will do like he said " cut it all out and put the old suspension back under it "

So last night Jeff did say the LCQ course was 3miles long, Matt was telling me he has been told what area its taking place in so there's somewhat an "idea" of what the LCQ race is going to have in it. I only wish we were able to practice it like all the Cali locals will. Man talk about having to "Brang it, dont sang it" this is gonna be badass :afro:

The LCQ was supposed to be run up "Backdoor". Nolen will have to clue us in on it.
Dave Cole told me you could drive a stock Yota up the middle of Backdoor, its if you go left or right 5 feet you end up in major carnage. I thought it was supposed to be close to 2 miles.

DANG its going to be a good time!

I heard from Jeff that the LCQ race will start at the waterfall on Backdoor, which from what bender says is towards the end of the trail. So a couple of obstacles and then blasting back to the lakebed for 3 miles. I talked a bunch to Bender about the trail and how to run it. He said it is not walk in the park, but you just gotta know the line. He said on the jambo weekend about 70 out of 1000 rigs make it up. Most don't try, but the ones that make it are buggies.

you definately have better info. I heard the blanket story. Well none the less will be good times. Know how your buggy handles at speed and try to make quick work of the technical, and HAMMER DOWN on the lake bed.

Did Levi actually get a mention? What was said? Is this recorded anywhere? I couldnt log in the other nite.

Yes, Levi got mentioned.

To paraphrase all of it
When Shannon was being interviewed about building a new IFS car for KOH'09 it was asked if he would be putting Levi in the current car to race. Shannon said, no theres some problems there but otherwise absolutely. Jeff Knoll then told the insurance story. Then they talked about how Shannon was a young kid and didnt get his act together to learn from his dad until later in life, and he was glad to see the young guys so involved so early. And someone said "Like Shirley's boy?" Shannon said yeah/yes, and then someone said what is he 8 or 9 now? followed by some laughter.

They made light of his age, but everything else was very good about how hes young, wants to learn, and has the chances to learn and is taking advantage of it, versus Shannon had the chances to learn from his dad and didn't at that age.
