tow rig tires?

oh, ok, whats special about his?

he just mentioned about a truck that was in front of him with sidewall flex. I said you can't really base it off someone driving in front of you because like myself. I run low pressures in my tires for regular driving for better wear and a better ride.

ok ive had toyos coopers and sxt's. the toyos lasted about 20k towing and what not, coopers were at 16k when i sold the truck and they were about 40%, sxt's were on the truck i got and they wear good but have extremely thin side walls and ive had'em blow out. I will be running BFG's next round because my cousin tows a big enclosed trailer every day and hes got 60k on his bfg mts and they are still 30%. thats my 2 cents.

i share the same feelings as you here except are you going to run the new style km2's?

you can't really compare your truck to something you see just driving down the road.. I run the rears in my truck at 32 psi.

well it was a buddies truck, so i know the background on it.. .they huped the sst's as being the same tire as the toyos and they arnt..
the sidwal flex's and squirms just rocking the truck by hand...

as far as presure, my fronts make full contact @55psi, rears around 40... on 10" rims

Full contact or not they will act totally different at 80psi.

I had toyo MT's put on when I bought my truck, but after 7k on them I can already see some wear.
I have ran toyo's on gas vehicles and they wore great but they seem to wear pretty fast on the oil burner.
I guess thats the nature of the beast.
