Toyota electric locker diagram

Wrong. The actuator has internal "switches", more accurately position sensors, that tell the ECU when to stop. It's just some people have decided to use these for a purpose they were not intended with mixed success. It seems these same people are the ones who complain about the e-lockers getting jammed or not being reliable. Go fig. :haha:
so does this mean that in order to do this properly and to make it reliable, i need to get an ECU out of a 94 4runner limited and hook that up some how?

Tacoma or 4runner, they're the same. It's the only way I will set them up. Why reinvent the wheel to save a few bucks, it's not worth the aggrivation IMO.

whats a few bucks? i didnt think ECUs came cheap.
I bought mine brand new, 'bout $100 each. If you time and having the locker work reliably isn't worth that much just find a junkyard that doesn't know what they're worth. :redneck:

huh. on the all data diagram i got, it shows it as a vacuum line.
Just goes to show how worthless alldata is. It's a breather for the gear case.
