Toyota high steer kits

I am currently running all pros kit, but going to put assist and figure I would get the six shooter in hope to rule out breaking a arm off. we'll see what happens

I helped a friend install Marlin's cheaper setup (think it was about 300 about 1.5 years ago) and we had no problems, still going strong. It's on an '85 runner, 3" lift, daily driver (he drives it a LOT, it's been to reno and back a couple times, all over Oregon and southern Washington) and all the TRE's are still in good shape. Not much wheeling with it though.

Toy SAS

My Allpoo's chromo Hy-steer is still going strong since '98. I know that Stealthrunner has had problems with the tapers on the 6 Shooters... He's looking to put hiems instead of the FJ80 joints.

don't know ,geiger said that they may not have seated fully in the arm,he said they torque them after every run it would have been nice to be told that a while ago I'll torque them down again and see what happens. when i get to that point..if they are worn i'll send them back and get a new set.

Sounds like a typical Geiger answer. I've never had to retorque my Sky arms.

High Steer Kits

I love the height of my stage 6 billet Sky Arms to clear extra leave spring packs or if running a shim. Unfortunately I noticed the shorter length of the arm is causing my tie rod to rub on the ubolt plate before full lock turning.

I have AllPros kit (1 year old) and so far don't have any issues, other than I don't like the steering stabilizer "kit" that comes with it. Not long enough...

I did have to return one of the arms they sent me, as it wasn't even fully machined/tapered..?

i have the sky billet kit, we haven't installed it yet. but they forgot to send us lock nuts, and had to wait for those... then we realized the tie rod end's threads are really loose in the DOM... hope they hold up... i was deployed when i ordered them and didn't find this out for months later.

I don't think he even has a wheeler.

I havent had any issues with trail-gear. i had the high steer, 4.7s, skidplated, diff guards. They all help up pretty good. Havent bent the steering linkages like other venders products.
