I think a coon dog might be good. Them sumbitches are made for the woods and I swear I could run mine over and back over him and he'd get right back up. They're just flat out tuff!

Just get you a good pit just put it in it's place when it's a pup and they'll listen for ever

Might be a bit cliche but golden retrievers are always down for a good time. Great family dogs too.

Our golden goes with us on every 4x4 trip. They make great trail dogs, but make sure their parents have good hips.
