Official line is the Pacific crest trail. Recognized line is the boyscout sign just east of the cabin.

Thanks Pokey, guessing there is a spur road there for access that I don't remember (no surprise there). I was thinking of where it crosses just west of the cabin, so I'll have to check the map again.

Took the dirt road over Pyramid yesterday. There were no trail closed signs at any of the road crossings on the west side, and there were trailers parked at two or three of them.

Rules don't apply to everyone. If you tear down the signs then the rules don't apply. Be sure to thank these good folks for enforcing the appearance that we can't be trusted to follow even the simplest of rules.
