Truck campers

If you are hauling a old car on a trailer, does it have to be licensed? No. You could just tell the cop you are transporting it. :redneck:

Why does the camper have to be licensed when its on the truck? How is it any different being tied to the frame of a trailer or tied to the frame of a pickup?:eeek:

I run a basic shortbed Mega Cab 3500 5.9L CTD, Lance camper, and tow a trailer with my junk on it.

I run airbags and a class V hitch with 2' extension since the camper is ~2' longer than the bed. Plans are to add a swaybar soon.

The Pete was an ebay find and it's got a 48" sleeper, so he was able to get it registered as an RV = no CDL required :eeek: Of course, that's in Texas.
