Trump for prez?

Apparently Johnson gets sand in his ***** when someone says "illegal immigrant" . He thinks the term is mean to people that come into the country illegally. Enough with the political correctness and politician speak.
I saw that interview. I thought it was a little much on his part to be distraught over an accurate term, although I kinda see where his basis is, as the term does get tossed around in an offensive slang type diction - again, not agreeing with him, but I see where he is coming from. Regardless, if you are here illegally, you are just that - an illegal immigrant.

Next? Only a few negative points so far vs. the book of negatives that can be written about the Trumpinator.

I'm not saying he's worse than Trump. Just that he's not the pillar of Libertarian principles that we want/need.

It's like the Libertarian party is more interested in pandering to the Left to gather up Bernie and Hillary dissenters than sticking to principle.

Really not sure, but as much as I pay in taxes right now if she gets in I'm pretty sure there is only one way they are going to go and it's not down. And I am almost certain we are fixing to have a reset in our economy, due to everyone living in houses they can't afford and driving cars they can't afford. My business is building, and machining specialty machines and dies for factories, and when the economy tanks the automotive is the first to go and the last to come back so it usually gets tough. There is a nissan plant near me that usually has a big empty parking lot where cars are parked before shipping, I was showed a picture today of that lot covered with thousand of cars parked, which is a terrible sign. On top of that look what ford decided to do with their smaller cars this week, I know I sound negative Nancy on this but when you have people and their families relying on you, you just look at things different

I will agree with that! I've just been getting a chuckle out of when someone points out one small thing they don't like about ole Gary, but are full-on Trump supporters considering the plethora of "wrong", and a lot of times false, things he says.

Trump 15-20 years ago would have probably been a much more keen, grounded, and better suited candidate. All old interviews I've seen of him discussing politics, he was much more held back and conservative, spoke much more intellectually, and there was an absence of blurting out all these racially charged, misogynistic, and otherwise maniacal comments and ideas. But then again, back then he was also rubbing elbows with the Clintons quite a bit.

And Nick, I'm not sexist at all, most of my beliefs on that sort of stuff came from my grandmother. Some of the stuff was no woman preachers, no woman were ever to sit at the end of the table, and you better not where your hat in the house.

"They say"

That they are going to be building higher priced vehicles there instead of the cheapo cars.

It's kinda like the "made in China" deal.

People don't want to pay $20 for something stupid like a basic plastic paper towel holder, so lets make a million of them in China, sell em for $2. Most people are happy with that product and it works just fine for them.
If someone does want a better paper towel holder, they can get a better one that is Made In USA for about $20.

People want cheapo econo cars, so they get built in Mexico.
People want nicer, better? cars/trucks, they get built in the USA.

Does it suck? sure.

Will I have to make more trips to Mexico to support manufacturing equipment? Yep.

Your very right about the house and cars! This time when **** hits the fan it's going to ugly!!!

Why are you so convinced that the clintons own Trump?
Ok he was friends with them, why does that translate into owning him?
He was friends with them, when he was younger, maybe he has gotten wiser and tired of seeing the country headed in the direction its going.
I'm not a trump lover by any stretch, but i dont understand how people say that since he was friends with them 20yrs ago that he still believes the things he did then.
Like i say im not saying he is 100 %genuine, but you act like people dont change the way they see the world and their out look on things.
Maybe he has, god knows i have changed a ton in 15 or so yrs.
Only time will tell if he has really changed or not.

Also Johnson dosent have a chance in hell to win so why is he still taking donations to his campaign?
Honestly what is he trying to accomplish?

Re:

I'm not convinced they own Trump, I just knownhow that shady behind the scenes **** works and would not for one minute put it past Trump to still be in their back pocket. He probably isn't, but if there were emails uncovered tomorrow between the Clintons and Trump, it wouldn't surprise me.

People definitely change, and he sounded much smarter 15 years ago, maybe he's changed for worse?

As for Johnson, hell why not run? He has advertisement costs, he travels around doing public campaign speeches that aren't free, how else should he cover those costs? Trumps a self proclaimed multi-billionaire and is taking donations lol.

I think Gary believes in his campaign and if you don't run, you can't win. Yes his chances are slim, but he has gotten much more recognition this go round and more and more endorsements.

Tony told me that JD has GJ tattooed on top of his ass :flipoff1: I ask the same ??? Seem like a big waste of time and money GJ does stand a snow balls chances in hell. But hey the worlds full of Dumb ****s willing to piss money away!

If you go back to the beginning of this thread I was against trump, not now. So I'm asking Jd why he thinks trump sounds less smart than years ago, what do you not agree with?

Nothing would suprise me this election year as well.
I'm not sure he was smarter (in my opinion) back then.
Less annoying quite possibly then probably haha.
But now he says he is pro-life, and is calling out some of the corruption, and not ***** footing around with political correctness.
Only time will tell.
But i would rather vote for a somewhat unknown in Trump than a known evil, corrupt, socialist Clinton.
Only 2 choices unfortunately

Not sure, maybe he's thinking he needs to be paying off some campaign debt.

I think I agree, I don't believe he's really different other than now, like a good bit of Americans, has had enough of the way the country has been headed.

Even if he has changed, wasn't it about 20 years ago that Johnson was increasing spending and borrowing money in government? I don't really see Trump as saying racially charged statements, anything can be discriminating if you want it to be that way. Some claim that requiring photo ID to vote is racist, against whom is this racist? Is someone implying that some races are not smart enough to present a photo ID or obtain a sometimes free ID card, isn't that racist?

You have to have monetary donations to be able to keep up with Demmie's advertisements. That's why Trump is taking contributions. GJ is running his contributors money up a wild hogs ass "such a shame". In 16 years no one will remember him. Except the people that voted with their heart not their brain.

Josh how do you "knownhow that shady behind the scenes **** works"? Let me guess you watch House of Cards? I would bet money you don't have an actual clue on how it really works just like the rest of us.

He was much more mature and professional acting back then when he discussed the matters of our country. He's since grew into this crazy fake outlandish "cartoon character" of himself - as some put it.

His approach can be summed up by the way he handled the situation recently when a woman asked him what he'd do about the 20 vetarans a day that commit suicide and he immediately said "I believe it's actually 22", when in fact, No, it was 20 just like the woman said, but by using the tactic of saying he thought it was 22, it sounds like he was already familiar with what she was asking about, when in reality, much like Gary Johnson and Aleppo, he probably had no idea how many veterans were committing suicide everyday. The only difference is that Gary used honesty admitting he didn't know, instead of bullshitting to act like he knew when he really didn't.

http://youtu.be/skoffIki8Bg

Fake-ass Trump. He speaks in Mobile, AL - "My favorite book is the Bible!" Ha, right. Politicians always pander to their supporters, but he is so superficial in his methods it's pathetic and it should insult your intelligence when he does that.

He made fun of John McCain for being a prisoner of war? Really? Any man that claims to be an American patriot could never find the disrespectfullness within himself to make fun of someone like that.

I watched most of the GOP debates, he can't debate a topic without getting offended and literally acting like a child with some sort of personal attack in his rebuttle that has nothing to do with the topic of discussion.

All that **** is acceptable on reality tv and in his every day life, but not one damn lick of it should be acceptable in a presidential candidate.

Above are only a few incidents, if I cared to take time to write them all out, I could easily jot down NUMEROUS incidents where he has acted out unpresidentially. He's like a big baby if he don't get it his way. That **** isn't gonna cut it if he were given the oval office.

John McCain may have been a POW a long time ago, but he is currently a leach on our dime. Name something, besides cashing his paycheck, that he has done since being in office?
