Just saw this so..... Took the wife on Christmas Vacation in N. GA. Heard on the radio about the Tallapoosa new years eve possum drop. They were talking about how PETA got involved because they used a live possum. Yes I was way too interested not to go, had to come home to Florida and didn't want to go thru Atlanta anyway. I talked to a local and he said the event about tripled after PETA got involved. They caved and now use a stuffed possum, they tried road kill for a couple of years but apparently that didn't go very well even in Tallapoosa GA. On the way over I started seeing mud trucks and began thinking NGMP could be close by, it is one exit east. I shot over there but was too late for the comp but the gate people were super nice and allowed me to drive around and see what I could see. Choco is 40 min. to the west and going south we drove by the rode that goes to MM. Think we will try to make this a tri feta next year? OH yea, there must have been a dress code, tight jeans and boots even seen one girl in a tank top. That is only important because it was 32 maybe less RTR
