TSL's VS Boggers

In my opinion you made a good choice. The boggers move earth very well, but thats all they do.They do not move your rig forward, they just dig holes....it's worse in snow. The only time they work is if you already have forwad momentum and are going in a straight line.

The tread depth and toughness of the SX makes it a great choice for the NW. There is also a little bit of sidewall lugs that look cool.

I agree they're strong but..
36x12.5 15- SX 6 ply 22/32" tread 35.9" tall
36x12.5 15 TSL 8 ply 24/32" tread 36.3" tall

But the SX side walls do look cooler

I have 35 15.50 sx's on my daily driver and they dont do that good in the snow. Might be the width of them I dont know but I'm not that impressed with them in the snow.

those sizes are misleading. my old tsl's on 15x8s when brand new only measured out to 34"
my iroks measured to 35.5
my 44 boggers only measure 42" on 10" wheels...

So anyone out there with 36x12.50x15 with 10 " wheels that have SX's know the actual diameter of the tire.
Interco says 35.9
What about 38x12.50x15 SX's with 10" rims?
Interco says 37.4

Put them on a 8" wheel makes them a little bit taller. I've run both the TSL and the SX on the same trails or rocks and SXs out do the TSLs every time.

I don't have any personal experience with SX sizing but on 15x10 wheels, my 33x12.50 TSLs were 3/4" shorter than my 35x14.50 Boggers. Interco's site shows a 1.3" difference.

boggers will never let you down and will never get a hole in them. sx's are good choice to. neither are very good in the snow. boggers work well if you have a real motor. never had a problem on a sidehill yet.

had them on every trail at rimrock mud, rain, snow and was just saying if you drive hard its tire that cant be beat. any tire works fine if its dry out. its all good everyone has there choices.

I have run all 4, TSL's, Radial TSL's, Boggers and SS / SX's. The TSL's are tuff, but have a stiff side wall, wear well, but are noisy on the road. The Radial TSL's handle well on road, are relitivley quite, but have a thin 2 ply side wall and tread depth is minimal. The Boggers are mean looking and noisy on road, tuff side walls that do not flex well. When first produced they were torted as having "fingers" (horizontal blades) to help them rock climb. I found that those "fingers" tended to load and unload so heavely as to break my u-joints and axles. Plus they melt infront of your eyes on the pacement. The SS / SX's IMO are one of the best tires ever developed. Bias ply design for tuffness, 2 steel cords for bullet prooffness, deep tread for extra bite and longer lasting. 4 ply side wall with extra meat hanging off them for extra protetion. They are so tuff, I do not carry a spair any more, have never damaged on so badly so as I could not trail fix it and get back to the trail head. Even after all that, I will run PitBulls next. :awesomework:
