I don't see why not. there's 10 trillion toyota's with you're same rear differential out there doing just fine. (they have crush sleeves too):D

*i know to get new pinion nut/crush sleeve/bearings
 
I have had a pinion go sloppy due to the crush sleeve with my Detroit. It actually seemed to compress the sleeve more causing slop which in turn ruined the gears. The pinion nut was still staked. Others have had the same thing happen, seems to be more common when using the Detroit. Do a search on PBB, the topic has been covered before.
 
hes saying spend 5 extra bucks and buy a solid pinion spacer and ditch the crush sleeve.....because they bring the suck

Call the hook-up and go with Yukons. Dump the the Detroit and get an ARB. Call me when/if you need a hand. That is all, carry on.:D
 
I have done hundreds of toy diffs w/wout crush sleeve and no problems either way.

Darius---buy some real tools :rolleyes:
