Dude they were awesome. They would walk up to you and look at your rig. Hell a couple of them looked at my puny tj I was like wtf ha.

I just noticed in the video, that's Chris Durham, with a Toyota fj40 style grille, and a Toyota sticker on the back of his rig. Wtf. He's always been a jeep guy.

Pretty sure Chris built the FJ for someone, and pretty much used UA to shake it down, he still has his Jeep.

Just read all 17 pages on Pirate. Sounds like a great time. My rig is a long ways from being able to even attempt it. It would be cool though. I would have to pull a small trailer cause I would end up packing everything I own.

Through out the day here I have read the whole pirate thread front to back. Not gonna lie makes me want to try something like that. Hell maybe next year i'll apply and see what happens.

I saw pictures from railbed. After helping host at River Rock a few years ago I would say getting that many rigs through those trails sounds about right.
