W.E.ROCK coming to everett?

And there's a reason you can't share this idea? What is it with you and secrets?

There are no secrets. An event is being talked about and information is being brought forward. Talks are happening. Plans are being made, hoops are being jumped through. YES there is a high chance that we Rock is coming to the Everett area if we all keep our fingers crossed.

Not if you keep telling the promoter it's at the new Reiter.

NEVER DID I
get your facts straight and stop talking smack that you don't know about. It's people like you that make progress hard. Can't you just take a good thing and trust that someone might know what they are doing. Why don't you ask questians. or better yet call me and help put it together. At least I have the guts to take it on and YES I did my homework.

what part of private land owner don't you understand

If anyone is going to mess this up it is going to be you and your constant nagging. Leave Rich alone, I think he has more important things to do that answer all you crap

Leave Rich alone??:haha: Rich approached me about this otherwise I wouldn't know anything about it. Like I told you in the PM Charlie there is history here. If you insist on keeping secrets I can only answer Rich's questions with what I know and that doesn't help you at all......
Suit yourself.

There are no secrets. Leave the people that are working to put this together alone and support then in there endeavor to make this happen.

THere are to many loose ends to go public with all of the information

I'm an optimist, so shoot me!:D
I'll be there Not if, but when this does make it to the PNW again(wherever it may be...), to show support for this kind of event up here if nothing else. :awesomework:

If it is a man made course, why not do it at a fair ground, event center or something like this. Monster trucks do it? Hell why not partner up with the Monster trucks? I am not sure I under stand the need to do it on private land.

Rent some space, build your course, run the event, tear down the course, and repeat at the next location.

Just my thoughts. I would love to watch another local event and would be willing to pay.

Rick call me. there is a lot of valley support for Reiter and I would like to bring you up to speed on this

The other issue is that many of thier regular teams are from AZ making it tough on those teams.

I have been to 3 of 5 events this year and there are teams from the nw that make the trip from seattle, gig harbor , kirkland, portland and canada! Travel is part of the gig! It's our turn to have an event closer to home. Also as Binder said we would set spectator records. I was surprised at what little attendance showed for the Grand nats.

Agreed 100% it is part of the game. I know my travel budget could use a break.

All I'm saying is Rich does take into consideration those teams that have been with him a long time.

And, to thase of you that feel the need to take the Rieter whinning to Pirate...stfu...there is more than enough bullshit on that subject right here.

If you read that thread you would know that it was Big Rich who brought up Reiter there......Maybe you should send your concerns to him?

I've always felt the Fair grounds in Monroe would be a really good fit for a we-rock event. There would be a MASSIVE turnout. Most the year they are racing/crashing/smashing vehicles of all shapes and sizes there anyway...There's hotels, bars, restaurants, close prox to I-5 ect...

I believe they are looking at private property that could have a man made course or a combo of natual and man made obstacles that would not have to be torn down. The land owner would contribute to the cost of creating the course and then own it.

I'm not one to speak for Charlie but I can understand where there could be business deals in process which could require a degree of discreteness......I probably should have handled my earlier rampge a bit different too. My only concern in all of this is that Big Rich had a bad experience last time he tried to bring crawling up to us with the whole Ellensberg deal. I could see where if a simillar incident happened again We-Rock might never try to come here again....Nothing wrong with trying as long as we don't burn bridges in the process.:cheer:
That's my take on it.

I am somewhat knowledgeable on certain aspects of this whole thing, and would be glad to answer any specific and general questions one might have.

Ask away.....
