lol, it states it pretty clearly in the summary. Prep work and (large) rock hauling. :awesomework:

i uderstand that prep work is what we are doing this weekend i have no question about the work party if you actually read what i had typed instead of jumping to a conclusion and a smartass answer you would see that my question was about what the final trail was going to be like, if indeed it was going to have the stair case like the picture YOU posted

kevin ... mark ... thanks for the response i didn't know that there was still more to discuse with DNR i was under the assumption that; that was what the tuesday meeting was about... this is a new process to me but i am a very quick learner

see you all in the morning

No problem:awesomework:...and yes, there is ALOT more to it than meets the eyes on here....As for the Tuesday meeting, that was a regularly scheduled monthly Walker Valley Focus group meeting, which alot of different things are discussed at (for all user groups at Walker)...

Got the pathy all fixed up (although I didn't get to weld the crack in the frame, but I think it'll be fine) See ya guys at Big Rock for breakfast ~7:45:awesomework:

All loaded up... Saw, Weedwacker with saw blade (and one other as backup in case the one on there isn't cuttin' it, but it should:D...) chaps, hardhat, fuel, safety glasses, ear protection, etc... even have a tote of safety vests, and spare gloves, safety glasses for those that may have forgotten theirs!:awesomework:

Hay there rocket don't forget the gas to run those enviro friendly badass tools:awesomework::stirpot:

Man what a hot friggin' day!!! :thud::thud: I have to give a HUGE shoutout to all that made it this day!!! Even had Mauler up there for awhile helpin' out!! Can't say thanks enough for all the help and insight... Everyone up there busted ass to get what needed to be done DONE!!!:cool: The trail corridor has been defined, and the rock haulin' crew managed to get 3 loads of the larger rock, and I think 4 loads of the small tie-in material (wasn't what I/we were hoping for, but it will help tie in the larger stuff....) to the landing.... they did end up having excavator issues which took it out of commission fairly early....then at the end of the day the bobcat's hydraulics acted up...but we managed to get everything done---more large rock will need to be hauled next weekend....
Have to say it again...
THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPIN" OUT TODAY!!!:beer:

My face, neck and hands are sun burnt.:frown:

To my surprise (and a days hard work by all) we got the 1st stage done. Next weekends workparty will have a "clear" path to work with. It's coming together......

And you chose the shady end of the trail to start on!!! I caught on to your smartness, and followed suit!!!:redneck: Got a little burnt too, but not bad....
I also called Richard after talking to you last, and he is doing fine:awesomework:---heat got to him is all he's thinkin', but he had this happen once before not too long ago, so he will be making an appt at the doc just to be sure...:awesomework:

The key to the next phase of this will be getting the proper equipment :stirpot::stirpot: (cough cough jakob!!!...)...

all day i was thinking i was lucky hauling rock and not being stuck on the hill in the miserable sun and heat, once i got home i found out i am sun burnt as hell and sore as **** from bouncing around in the truck all day lol guess there is no escape from work party abuse

i guess ill have to pay more attention to no wires to pull off a relaxed working day :fawkdancesmiley:

i have no problem hauling more rock next weekend too.. hopefully i can use DNRs dump trailer again
