Yea it was... It's kind of funny because we stopped at Denny's to eat on the way up there, and we were B.S.'n about the possibility of him making me a deal on the frame, and body, because he planned on putting the running gear in a 4-runner project. I told him I was really tempted in his offer. Then about halfway through the Busy I jokingly told him that I would'nt be interested in paying nearly what I had originally said I might pay.

Another birfield and my buddys back window:haha: evans creek was a lot of fun tins of snow!! Ran as much as we could, a lot of it was impassable

I broke the 6 bolts that hold the left front hub onto the wheel... Sheared em clean... When the tire quit spinning with a soft pop, I was like, NO WAY did I just pop an axle or birf that easily... Turns out the hub was spinning... But not the tire...

So, had to get pulled off the stump I was perched on top of... And drove her down in a combination of 2wd and 3wd...

Oh, and I'm going to have to look at my winch... Trying to help Wayne get back on the trail and keep from rolling off a hill, I might've held the return line for too long without any movement from the winch... After we got him back on trail the winch spooled up fine... But later, after it cooled down, it would click but didnt wanna turn... Need to investigate the ol' 8274... So I'm not calling it broken just yet...

The solenoids on the 8274's are notorious for going bad...something to pick up a spare to keep with you:awesomework:

Still... Not a bad deal buying that winch for $400 and just slapping it on and using it! I like it... Think I'll keep it. I've seen guys spending $6k on these things beefing them up... Dual motors, dual solenoids etc... I'll have to see what mine 'needs'... ;-)
