Saw this on another board and decided to steal the idea.... because its pretty darn neat ! If you feel like sharing a little "garage time" post up and let us see what your up to !

There's alot of gearhead's on the boards so throw your hot rod, street rod, motorcycle , whatever project up there. Obviously though, this thread should begin to fill up with some off road content so bring it ! Maybe you'll inspire someone to do that next mod or go out and do some maintenance to thier rig so we dont get stuck behind there broke ass on the trail ! laughing1

I have been at the drawing table for a little while designing a new dash and console layout for my buggy. I plan to re-work the twin stick shifters and have someone re-wire my entire electrical system into a harness. But first I want to build the new dash and console complete with wood grain trim and black vinyl wrap. Oh yeah, in keeping with the beamer hood look. :****:

What do you do if you don't have a garage? O'well in the back yard under that old Oak tree :****: , ( Just kiddin) Anyways made a new mount at work for the orbital value to mount to frame with bolts ( didn't want to weld directly to the frame) so HOPEFULLY I will have my hydralic steering on before the Apirls Fools Ride. thumb.gif

I wired my winch into a dash mounted switch... Also swapped the relay for my fan so its back to 2 speed ( Tauras fan )

My dads 55 Willys is at my place and we are going to drop the engine back in it tommorow if the weather holds off for us . Im going to get this thing back out there its sat way to long and I've been riding his ass since he ended up with the motor bling I bought from Greg . :driving:

Today Neal and me started a roll cage in a mud truck. Nothing too fancy. Just an interior cage and some sort of engine cage. Got the main hoops and pillars welded in.

Funny story...

Yesterday I sold the cab truck and also foud out what the inside of a fireball looks like! Guy from Mt. Olive area came by and was thinking about buying it, so I got it out and let him drive it and all. The damn thing wouldn't run worth a ****, guess from sitting there for a while. So I adjusted on the fuel pressure (adjustment screw on the throttle body) and all of a sudden a huge fireball shot out of the t.b. and singged my eye lashes, eyebrows, and lots of my hair!!!!! Scary as shiat!!!! Once I realized I was alright I was laughing my ass off though. I had to pry my eyelashes apart cause they melted together. molaugh Man I felt like the biggest jack ass of all time and these guys looking at the cab truck prolly thought I was the biggest dumb ass ever. Needless to say the problem the whole time was the som bitch was out of gas and I didn't know it! ::) Anyway thought you guys would like that story! thumb.gif

well today i found out i have 2 broke lockers
front and rear
the rear makes an ugly noise to

I learned that welding vertical overhead with gas is much easier than using flux core. Ive definitely been missing out.
Sold my skycrapper long arm, and the extra laptop.
I also sold the front ford 60 that I got for cheap for a rediculously outrageously idiotically stupid price. Sometimes it pays to be on an island :woot:

Ahhh man, you shoulda keep that 60 , now youll have to buy one for a ridiculously high price when you want one ! Ask me how I know ! laughing1
