I did find this http://www.hardlinecrawlers.com/forums/index.php?topic=20523.0 It's kinda dated.

I'm in construction supply sales. I've been doing this for about six years now. It's the the only job I've ever had that I truly have fun doing everyday. It's a small company, only six of us. I work the counter most of the time, plus receiving paperwork and ordering.
The best part is I get to bust balls on the guys coming in here. Most of them I've worked with over the years and know pretty well.

Over the years I've been in the army. Mechanic for a large grasscutting outfit. Then I worked for a couple of construction companies as a site mechanic/ fuelman, an dump truck driver, delivered equipment, operated equipment.

Not to rain on your parade, but why not just reply to the other thread and get it started again?

I hitch hike to the LC and pick up the hundos that tonybolton throws out the window on the way to and from work. Damn litterbug I tell ya.

A small very small place ( No Corp ) Were just down to earth people, old school.... Hell we still drink beer with our customers at the counter and if they need a shot, there's a bottle under the counter. On top of that we don't lie to the customer, if we say something is going to on their site the next day.... It's there.
I've never worked at a place where your just a number ( Except the Army)
The best part about working here is some of weird ass people that come though the door....I've seen and heard some strange/funny/scary **** over the years.

I've worked here and one other lumber yard since 2009. I left last year to try something else that didn't work out and ended up back here as a salesman. I wish like hell the other job would have worked out. Selling guns was more fun than selling lumber.
