What do you do for a living?.

I work for a precast concrete manufacturer, We make underground utility products, for storm drain and sanitary sewer. We are located in Murfreesboro, TN.

I'm an electronics tech. I do industrial controls with PLC's, drives, motors and stuff at a company that makes wire.

I was a lubrication engineer for a few years.

Now I design and build machines, production equipment, automation, test stands, whatever the customer asks for.

Maybe you can come figure out what's wrong with our effing automatic quick-roll-up warehouse door. Heard PLC was bad or something and the door is dated and parts are scarce for it. But our maintenance has it under control.....haha. You work for Southwire?

Built natural gas pipelines for 10 years, wife got tired of never seeing me. Got a job at home for BNSF railroad and hated it, now I work at Nucor Steel.

Low voltage tech. Fire alarms, intrusion, cctv, access control, nurse call, intercoms, AV, voice and data. Pretty much if it has wire, or wireless, and isn't full on electrical like power or lighting I do it. Currently moving from senior service tech to service manager, just have to train a replacement. Been at it for almost 20 years. Started as a cable guy, went to work for waldevil doing their fire and burglar alarms and after 12 years they decided contractors were cheaper so became a contractor for a bit then found a local company and here I am 6.5 years later.

Working as an Industrial Engineer for Volvo trucks.

Line efficiency & lean manufacturing (green belt) are my main focus areas.
