I remember wheeling Honda hills in the early 80's and a few years later I lived there in those apartments.

I remember box-car canyon in Eatonville, the beaver ponds in Puyallup, and a little place behind the old Puyallup Fred Meyer...all places where the parties were at 10 years ago, but now gone due to development. :booo:

North Fork...Galbraith...Several small places with no names...Some of the hills above Sequim where I grew up...And Cub Creek---> The 'Ol Annual Turkey Day Fun Run, unfortunately ended back in '94 IIRC...:booo: Was able to go up there once since (about 4 yrs ago) for a recovery, and none of the old trails/mud holes are recognizable...earth does heal.

1)Edgewick rd. North Bend

2)The power lines up on Novelty Hill behind the new QFC is where my career began. Used to go up there in a 67 VW squareback almost everyday after highschool. Then Graduated to my 86 4Runner with the the procomp 4in. Stage II lift, 3in body and 35in. AT's. Smitty built everywhere & stock everything else:redneck::haha:

You can still get in at Black Diamond and Ravensdale. I remember the good ol Ikea Mud Bog....

But is it legal? Last time I rode my dirt bike out there (probably 8 years), King County Sheriff chased us out with the helicopter and then had squad cars parked on the road waiting to hand out tickets.

The only reason i really even know about it (as its a bit before my time) is my neighbor bought his house just because of honda hills and a year after he moved in it turned into apartments he was soooooooo pissed

The Woodinville Pits was me first wheeling experiance (where staples is now).

My first experience was there back when I was in high school.

I used to see trucks rolling through town all the time with Mud all over them. We still have a ton of teenagers driving lifted half tons all over town, but their never covered in mud anymore. Sad state of affairs when you can't even go mudding, even if it is :rb: teenagers like it, I know I did. There was trails all over around here a few years ago. Now there all blocked and trenched. I know they were probably illeagal but we didn't know better. That being said, this sport was a lot more carefree before, we lacked technical skillz but we could wheel everywhere. Now I have to load up a trailor and drive for an hour+. Of coarse I used to be the only snowboarder on the mountain too, now there's huge snow parks EVERYWHERE. Maybe change is good. Maybe Reiter WILL be better. Maybe I'll build a DDriver.

The problem with all these reminiscent places is we all drove to them......in what was most likely our DD'ers. Well.....times have changed and trailering my toy is a necessity......same for everybody I wheel with.

And I wouldn't trade all the fun in the buggy I've had, over the past 3 years, for a hundred Stossel Creeks.:awesomework:

A small sand pit down on Coal Creek - was one of the first places my dad took me to learn to ride a dirt bike. Was an odd area, a big sand bowl. Anyone know the area? It was gated at the time but it was constantly used even with the gate.

empty commercial building lot near IKEA in Kent. JeremI (sly-yota) will remember this one. Got stuck in the mud pit at lunch, made it back just in time to catch the end of 6th period. Got hand-cuffed another time for violating the no tresspassing, but there werent any signs up so they released me and my buddy Andrew. Now its fenced in.

LMAO! i remember that... then i got my moms 99 blazer stuck half way up the doors in a mud hole a couple years later... lol....

OH and the sand lot, you talking about was at the top of cemetary not coal creek. (atleast thats the only one i knew about) thats where my grandpa took me to ride my gokart and my bike and everything...

I've been wheeln for almost 10 years. Since I started, almost all wheeln areas that were not official ORV areas have since been closed. Most have been named above. Reiter has been the fun park for a long time.(This goes for a lot of people)I believe it was the last of it's kind. Good thing I left my mark, on a lot of trees. :redneck: On the other hand, I will now get to wheel some places I never have.
