Started building my 87 Toyota that I have had since I was 15, done SAS and 37s then decided it was too clean to wheel hard lol
So I bought a 88 Samuria to build but sold it, then bought a 79 Scottsdale 4x4 on the cheap and traded it for a 93 YJ welded it beat on it with 33" boggers had a blast
Bought my last rig from a friend(kmcminn)
Looked like this, was a climbing fool then low on 40s
Ended up lookin like this,MISS IT!
Been ridin RZRs since I sold it in 2011 I think it was
It started with a little red Jeep with a blown engine from a title pawn shop. I got a taste of the sports and I am a full on addict now. Pictures tell the tale pretty good. Just finish the red buggy (second rig)
79' CJ5, 304, 3 speed, open diffs, 33's, and a Swiss cheese body
Traded for this 79' CJ7, 350, 350, 205, 37's, 44 front and 12 bolt rear, locked and 5.13's.
Did a pretty big overhaul of it with the fab work done by a buddy to this. Replaced blown up 12 bolt with an Eaton (HO72) rear axle from a 1958 Chevy truck. From the factory with 5.14 gears and converted it over to rear discs. Pretty neat axle.
well I cannot find any early photos of her but here is the rundown.. 1974 chevy p/u..only cool factor was granny gear 4 speed and 205...then I started cutting metal and turned into this....
