What type of Brakes are you guys running?

I'm still thinking hydroboost on my new rig, because I have 3 of them laying there, 2 off 1 ton chevies and 1 off an 02 powerstroke. mount it backwards like jimbro's and rock out.

Bringing this post back up because a lot of things have changed since 2008. So speaking of bling has anyone installed or tried Wide Open Designs new hydro setup? is it worth all that money. Right now I have a sami booster, Subaru master cylinder 3/4 ton brakes and -3 braided lines. And they work amazing. But now that i'm building a tube chassis I want something that works equally as well but maybe a little less frankenstein. But at the same time $700 for just the brake and pedal assembly??

. My brakes suck! I have a samurai with Toyota axles, has Factory ifs front disc, rear disc set up of chevy 1500 truck, Sammy booster. Had the Subaru M/C to start with, very hard pedal! Will not lock up tires in gravel, changed to a 78 trans am 4 wheel disc M/C, took off the rear proportioning valve, same results, I don't get it! 4 wheel disc brakes, 2 different master cylinders, and still will not even slide the tires on a dirt road.

there was a thread running around on zuwharrie awhile back that I followed, I can't remember if I had to cut the plunger or extend it that could have a lot to do with it, I also put on a wilwood prop valve that made the biggest difference it was like $40 off jegs. I will say that the 3/4 ton calipers worked way better but the toyota stuff with the chevy rears I use to have prior to doing a 1 ton swap worked pretty good.
