What's it weigh?

Well the verdict is in. Bit more of a pig than I thought. 3408 #'s

Looking at it there are several ways of shaving weight off, ie. lose water in front tires, aluminum links, uhmw belly pan....
With that said though, it flat out works in the condition it is, so do not look for any changes other than maybe aluminum links.

Go alum links when you destroy what you have. You have a bad ass buggy, not need to reinvent the damn thing. thumb.gif
That is why I said do not look for any changes thumb.gif

heres how you shave it

unload the tires and put on bfg's. they are much lighter but have some of the shittiest sidewalls on the earth. not to mention the inner bead licks the dark side of my nuts.
custom titanium exhaust
1310 ujoints and yokes
make it a drop top and hack the cage off and go california...its all the rage in socal.

or say fug it and dont worry about it. you got a great rig. if you want to lighten it up do like I did and go on a diet.

Rig is great, but that is way more than I thought it would weigh, even with water. How much does the water weigh, 100-150/tire?

that's not bad, i figured it was close to that. Seems to stay on all four's , that little bit of weight seems to help.If i was going to change anything i would change to aluminum links. LEAVE THE WATER IN THE TIRES

AL links are maybe 50lbs of saving total Joel. Don't go that route until you thrash yours on it now. I upgraded to them because all of my lowers were bent bad. One looked like a banana!
