• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

wheeling next week.

For Pete's sake Merrick you know (should) better than anyone the issue we go thru every year to get permission to use the west side for jamboree. When you were chairing it I got the permission several times for you. No it is not written into our Naches permit but permission needs to be granted just the same.

Pete and his sake had nothing to do with it. I am well aware of what it took to open the trail. At no point was the trail open specifically for the TJ and TJ only. Can't be done. Must be open to all if open to one.

I understand your premises but maybe you need to talk to the white river folks. That's where my info came from. One of these days these two district's may actually communicate and work together on this issue but I will be dead before that happens.hell the FS can't even manage to get a phone system that you cancatt the office and talk to someone unless you know their secret rxy. #

Yes, Jim I understand? Just so ya know anytime the TJ event is happening verification of the Naches Trail status is obtained by the NRD. Sam B used to do it. Then when I went to work for the NRD it was my responsibility. Now it is someone else's as I've stepped away from the lead position.

I can remember several times you asking me to verify with Bob that it was open for us as I have done for Sid since he took over. I spoke with Mary C this morning to get permission to go inspect the trail next week if Dave B has not already done so. just waiting for a call back from him so we can avoid the last minute BS.

I can clearly remember the times I called and got the "Ok". Each time I got an answer it was that the trail is open. Thanks was given by Bob P of the USFS to the efforts of Dave B. The comment continued that with out Dave and his group the trail would never be ready to go early.

I expect to get up there the first part of next week to look things over.

So just got back, awesome trip, rained on us pretty good last night on the lake. :beer:Hit most of evans today till my buddy blew a motor mount and a tranny mount. Which made his clutch linkage fall out because motor and tranny shifted to pass side."A LOT" Ratchet strap the tranny over to drivers side then strap the motor down and was able to limp it out of the trail with all the switchbacks.198? The rock up on 311 was pretty slick but made it with no problem. Was a good wet trip!

So the surprise lake trail is open and clear of snow all the way to the lake? Just checking as I might be headed up there tuesday for the night.
