Where is that? I've hunted around Pierre a couple of times. They have big deer and no :afro: it's just too damn cold in winter.

I am about 130 miles from south west of Pierre. I live on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, just as bad as :afro:. We have some pretty big deer here on my ranch. I took one in 2008 that scored 200 boone and crocket, non-typical. We have a few 150-180 class white tail running around here. And yeah it can get cold as hell, but I guess I am used to it. We had -35 below wind chills the other day.

Never would have guessed you were South African. I met a guy in Charlotte, NC at a bar that was South African. Looked like average white dude with a Brittish sounding accent. I figured he was from Germany, UK, or something of the sort, then he said he was South African. I thought that was pretty neat.

Lived in TX for a short time growing up but 90% of my life has been in Mississippi. Now live a little south of Jackson now. Not a single place to wheel in MS, why I picked this hobby I'll never know... :dunno:

:flipoff1: My boss and I were shooting pool and drinking beer one evening after training class there and this guy and his friends wanted to play us in a game. His friends were Charlotte locals, but when he started talking I was like whoa, where are you from? I thought he was joking when he said South Africa. I was like "For real? They really talk like that there?" molaugh

We went to Fla on vacation, stopped at a Casa de Waffle for lunch and the chick asked what we wanted to drink, I said sweet tea. She said "oh my God, I LOVE your accent! Where are you from?" in kind of a bend me over the counter right now sort of way. I poured it on buddy, I said "Tayunaseeee". My wife sitting across from me was NOT entertained.
In the Army me and my buddy Matt from Ft Payne Alabama got laid ALOT because of this accent, sure as **** wasn't our looks! :****:
