Did that in my d30 days....always busted shafts not joints.

What are the forged Spicers ya'll are talking about?

And if you were breaking shafts instead of joints, isn't that preferable? Normally a joint will take out both shafts. Wouldn't you rather just replace one shaft instead?

Julio told me one time that he ran Yukon joints in stock shafts with the caps tacked. Then when the shafts **** the bed, you pick up the joint out of the dirt and stick it in new shafts with a cap kit.
